If your company has security requirements for session expiry in CoLab, company Admins can configure session expiry times. These settings will automatically log users out after a period of inactivity, as well as a specified period regardless of activity.
š” When a user is a part of multiple companies, they will always be held to the most strict session expiry requirement of any of the companies they are a part of.
As a company Admin, start by navigating to the settings page by clicking on the company name on the top left of the screen, and selecting Company & Admin.
In the admin settings navigation bar, select 'Security' followed by 'Session Management'.
You can adjust three settings in this section:
Inactivity timeout - The amount of time after which users should be logged out after inactivity on the CoLab web application.
Require login after - The amount of time after which the users are required to login regardless of inactivity on the CoLab web application.
Desktop require login after - The amount of time after which users are required to log back in on the CoLab Desktop application.
