Using CoLab's Navigation System

CoLab’s navigation is built around a single, persistent sidebar that makes it easy to find what you need, stay organized, and access your work quickly.

Here's how it works:

Tracking Reviews and Feedback

You can access Reviews and Feedback directly from the sidebar. What you see depends on where you are in the app:

• On the Home page: You'll see all reviews and feedback across your company.

• Inside a Workspace or Portal: You’ll only see reviews and feedback related to that specific workspace or portal.

This gives you a flexible view—either a high-level overview or a focused look at one team or project.

Favourites

Favourites let you pin the items you access most often, so they’re always within reach.

Here’s how to favourite workspaces, portals, files, and saved views of feedback and reviews:

• Workspaces – Open the workspace menu and click the star beside any workspace name.
• Portals – From the Portals menu, click the star beside the portal name you want to favourite.
• Files and folders– From Drive, right-click a file or folder and select Add to Favourites.
• Saved views of reviews or feedback – When saving a filtered view of reviews or feedback, select the Add to Favourites option.

My Work Panel

The My Work panel shows everything that’s been assigned to you in one place. This includes:

• Reviews you’ve been added to

• Reviews you own

• Feedback you’ve been assigned

Use this panel to quickly check your responsibilities and jump into what’s next.

Q: What if I can’t find something in the sidebar?

A: Check your current location (Home, Workspace, or Portal). The sidebar adapts to where you are. You can also use the global search option to find what you’re looking for.

Q: How do I know which workspace or portal I’m in?

A: The breadcrumb menu at the top of the workspace or portal shows your current location. Go back using the Home button or use the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar menu to navigate elsewhere.

Q: Can I customize the menu?

A: While the sidebar itself isn’t customizable, you can add and reorder items in your Favourites section for quick access to your most important work.

Q: Will these changes affect how my workspaces and reviews are organized?

A: No, your projects and workflows remain unchanged.
