CoLab's GD&T markup tool allows you to annotate 2D or 3D designs with feature control frames and GD&T symbols.
Creating GD&T markup on a 3D model
To create GD&T annotations on a 3D model:
Open any 3D model in the CoLab interface.
Select the pin tool from the markup toolbar to create a feedback item on the model.
Click on the GD&T tool in the markup toolbar and click anywhere on the model to open the GD&T symbol selection window.
Create a feature control frame using GD&T symbols. You can also type a label and toggle whether to show an arrow.
Save your feedback. The GD&T markup will be saved with the feedback.
Creating GD&T markup on a PDF
To create GD&T annotations on a PDF:
Open the drawing or PDF file in the CoLab interface.
Selecting the GD&T tool from the markup toolbar and click the appropriate point on the document.
This will automatically initiate the creation of a feedback item and open the GD&T symbol selection window.
Create a feature control frame using GD&T symbols. You can also type a label and toggle whether to show an arrow.
Save your feedback to apply your annotations to PDF.
