Using Review Notebooks

Updated over 2 weeks ago

All reviews contain a notebook designed to make it easy for your team to document review-related information.

Creating a Review Notebook

Create a new review or click into an existing review and you’ll find an attached notebook with rich text & collaborative editing support.

To access the notebook, click the Notebook card in the Review panel.

Collaborative Editing and Mentions

Multiple people can add & edit content simultaneously, with unique cursors for each user. You can also tag and notify team members directly within the notebook. Mentions (using the @ symbol) trigger in-app and email notifications depending on user settings, streamlining communication within your team.

‍Notebook Version History

Notebooks maintain version history, so you can revisit older versions, compare changes, and restore or revert as needed. Version history can be accessed from the breadcrumbs menu.

Rich Text Capabilities

You can use rich text options to enhance your text formatting. Keyboard shortcuts can be used to bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, create bullet lists, numbered lists, add hyperlinks, headers, align text, and use advanced table functionality. Here's a quick guide to the rich text keyboard shortcuts:

Managing Permissions

Control who can add or edit content on notebooks with the “Edit Review Notebook” permission. Accessible under “Reviews” within the Roles & Permissions settings page, this permission ensures that your team members and stakeholders have the right level of access.

By default, workspace admins and full access users have notebook edit permissions, while limited access users don’t.
