CoLab offers, and encourages, SAML Single Sign-on (SSO). This allows customer administrators to authorize user access to CoLab directly from their existing identity provider (IdP)/SSO solution, with support for all major identity providers.
How to get SSO
- Submit a Request: Contact support at support@colabsoftware.com to have SSO enabled.
- Receive Instructions: After your request, CoLab will create and send an instruction document specific to your identity provider. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for this process.
- Complete Steps: Follow the instructions to complete several steps in your Identity Provider and provide the required information back to support.
- Schedule a Call: Once support receives the necessary information, they will schedule a call with you to complete the remaining steps and verify your configuration.
- Notify Users: Inform your users that the login process for CoLab will be changing. Once you've communicated this change, notify CoLab that you are ready to fully switch to SSO.
- Activate SSO: CoLab will then turn on SSO for your customer account, and all users will sign in to CoLab using SSO.
How to sign into CoLab using SSO
- Navigate to https://app.colabsoftware.com. Type your company email address into the Email Address field and click Sign In.
- Once you click Sign In, you'll be redirected to your IdP (Identity Provider) login page. Your IdP login page will prompt you to enter your email address and password. After providing your credentials, click Log In to proceed.
