Participating in a review

Updated over 2 months ago

This article covers best practices for participating in reviews.

Accessing reviews and viewing review progress

You will receive an in-app and email notification if you have been tagged in a Review. You can open the Review directly from either of these notifications, or you can navigate to the file itself and select Review.

‍

You can view the progress of every review you have created or been assigned to from the home page. Overdue reviews are highlighted, and reviews are by default sorted by due date. In the row you'll also see how many reviewers have submitted reviews, and the number of pieces of open feedback remain.

Contributing feedback in a review

To review the file(s), create Feedback. All feedback you create will automatically be saved to the review and shown in the Activity Feed.

There may be cases where another reviewer assigns you to review a specific feedback item. To do this, click on the feedback item within the activity panel to expand its details. We recommend using the associated discussion field for all communication related to the Feedback.

Completing your review

After completing your review, click Submit Review.

A modal appears where you can request changes from the review creator or approve your review. The modal also provides a summary of the number of feedback you created and allows you to add an optional comment to the creator.
